Happy 4th!

It was Wednesday night (3 days before the 4th) and we decided we had had enough of wearing winter coats in the glorious summer days of Seattle! So Marcus hunted on line to see where in Washington we could find some heat. Well we found the spot but trying to find a place over the 4th of July weekend was like trying to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But leave it up to Marcus to find and plan a fabulous last minute vaca! We packed up the fam and headed to eastern Washington with the Woodward's. Marcus also stumbled across tickets to the Lilith Fair at the Gorge. The kids absolutely loved dancing to the music and we stayed at the concert for 5 hours...I was amazed!! Then we were off to Crescent Bar for the weekend. We scored on our amazing accommodations too. Syd and Lola are the best of friends so they entertained one another the entire weekend (plus, plus!)...

The view at the Gorge is spectacular! The kids loved running up and down the hill, dancing, and playing in the tent. Hooray for afternoon concerts!
Dane and Reese having a blast together...
The below pictures are at Crescent Bar....

Crescent Bar had a great little 4th parade that the kids LOVED. Then we were off to check out the water...
Woody is such a kid...he let the kids put mud all over his head and yes it was his idea:) They were laughing up a storm.
Dada disappeared for a few minutes and came back with these special treats! Way to go daddy! There is nothing better on a hot day than Ice Cream!! Check out Dane in the background he wants nothing to do with the photo and EVERYTHING to do with the ice cream!!
The girls are only 3 and already are sharing clothes. Lola is wearing syds swimsuit (above) and outfit below. These girls are the best of friends!

Firework time! They loved watching the worms grow and the sparklers sparkle...

Okay folks check out my mouth! See the molars I'm working on (5 to be exact). So what else does a boy do than eat my toes! Oh and yes I am in a pink car seat! I think it's manly...pink is the new blue you know:)
