Mommy loves that you both love to help me cook!  Even though it is a bit messy and a little "extra" or not enough goes into the finish product it always tastes great.  We had lots of peaches so we decided we would make a peach pie...YUMMY!

A little extra "smushing" down is always what a GOOD peach pie needs!

That added technique really made it PERFECT!

Such a BIG boy!

I can't believe how grown up you are!  My sweet little baby boy is no longer a baby...  It is so hard to believe how quickly you change.  Last week Miss Tricia at school said you are ready to be potty trained and to come in underwear tomorrow!  WHAT??  So off you went in your big boy underwear and all it took was 2 days and were fully potty trained!  SO out went the diapers and in came the Lightning McQueen underwear.

You also decided you were too big for your crib and were ready to be in a BIG BOY bed too...  BOO HOO this mama can hardly believe you are SO big!

 
You love your Pottery Barn boat bed room!  We still need to decorate it more but for now you are happy just being BIG:)

End of Summer....

 You guys LOVE when Daddy needs some helpers to wash the car!  A great excuse to get wet:)

Camping Weekend

It was a beautiful weekend and Miss Syd you had been wanting to go camping all summer (you have heard your friends talking about it at school).  You two have the BEST daddy!  He decided that morning we were going to do it!  We had no site rented and they were all booked.  Leave it up to Daddy to find the perfect spot!  We headed to Issaquah to a farm.  Yes, a horse and animal farm and you two LOVED it!  We got to pet and feed the animals and sleep in our tent on their property.  They even had a big outdoor movie screen that we watched Strawberry Shortcake on and ate popcorn.  This was our kind of camping!

How cool we got to watch a movie outside with hot chocolate and popcorn!

 

 You two thought is was SO great we all got to sleep together!  We were all laying down and you two starting to talk and were not winding down...  So dad said " you two need to be quiet so the coyotes don't hear us" just as he ended his sentence a pack of coyotes began to howl...KID.YOU.NOT!  We never heard another peep from you two until morning!  Daddy and I could not believe the timing:)

 

We woke up with the roosters and you guys were thrilled to go feed the goats and bunnies their breakfast....

Sometimes the most memorable events are those that are unplanned!  We had a great overnight adventure that we will never forget.  Thank you daddy for finding the best spot!

The Yates clan comes for a visit!

We were all SO excited to have Ker, Brian, Harper and Blaine in Seattle!  We had a jam packed week of FUN!!!  Miss Syd and Dane you are still talking about the fun of jumping on the bed with Harper onto U. Brian's back, Laughing and playing with Harper and of course cuddling with baby Blaine!

Sydney you were in HEAVEN having two babies to take care of!  You are such a mother hen!  We had a fun picnic beach day with all our friends!

 

You all LOVED making homemade donuts and shaking on the cinnamon and sugar!
