Such a SAD, SAD day...

This is the day we have been dreading for months! Sydney's BEST friend Lola is moving to Alaska on Friday! We are headed out of town in the morning so today we had to say our good bye's. It is amazing how close of friends these two are. They both have SO much energy so they are the perfect match for being "besties". We are also going to miss Amy, Woody and Reece a ton! The first people Sydney prays for every night are the 4 of them:)

Last weekend Sydney had her first official sleep over. Lola, Amy and Reece spent the night and Lola and Syd slept in the same room (let's just say we won't be doing this again anytime soon:)) They had a ball but Syd didn't quite get that she was suppose to SLEEP with Lola in her room.

This picture of them in shower caps is SO fitting. Amy and I always laugh that they are like two old lady best friends. Even when Amy picked Lola up last week that is the term the teacher used! She said they will just sit on the end of the slide and chat, run hand in hand etc...
Mr. Dane is also going to miss his "girlfriend" Reece! Every morning he runs into school screaming Lola and Reecy wondering if they are there yet...

The four of them watching Dora the night of the sleep over:)
The next morning Lola laying on Marcus and Dane on Lola watching some cartoons

Our sleepover morning ended in a great outing to the zoo! It's a miracle we didn't end up with the "grizzly bears" considering we were all working on 3 hours of sleep:)
It is definitely not going to be the same here in Edmonds without the Woodward family! But we will pray and pray they will move back SOON (but I think it will be 5 years...UGG!). It is going to be hard on Miss Syd not to have her best friend at school everyday but we can't wait to visit Alaska (in the summer of course!!). UGG I hate that I have to write this we will REALLY MISS YOU GUYS!!!

Sunday School

Sydney is becoming such a big girl! Today was her first day of Sunday School. She is 3 so now she goes to the full on school to learn about God! She learned so much and had a ball her first day (Mama was there this week but next week she will be on her own...) Here are a few pics of the kids after church...
After mass Sydney picked to go to PCC The Organic Grocery Store to get doughnuts. I know... only in Seattle would you find organic doughnuts! But they are dang good! Dane and Syd love pushing their own carts. This was quite a site with two mini carts on the loose!
Picking out a doughnut (a sprinkle one of course!)
At PCC when you shop there kids each get a free piece of fruit. Dane's choice is always a banana Syd decided she wanted a grapefruit to try...
I LOVE my babies!!!

A Fun Filled Week...

We are so blessed to live is a place where people want to come and visit. Our good friends Scott, Georgia and Addy came for a week from St. Louis to come see the sites and hang with us. Here is a glimpse of a few things we did...

The mama's and dadda's had a day to play with no kiddos. It was jammed packed with a hike up Little Si mountain, a quick run to see Snoqualmie falls and then off to Woodinville for some wine tasting (and beer tasting at Redhook Brewery). No time to change clothes for the wineries with this fun-filed day! It was a blast!

Everyone has to go on the ferry when they visit. Sydney now associates the ferry and ice cream. So guess what Syd and Dane had at 10 am? Yep you guessed it...ice cream! Heck why not?
Bath time fun!
It's bath time! The girls and the kiddos headed to the beach while the guys played some golf. So needless to say the day ended with a very sandy tub. Owen came to play with us too!

A fun night out! Thanks for visiting...
