It is always so much fun to go to Sue Sue and Stuie's house. Sydney and Dane loved meeting their new cousin Skyler. It was such a beautiful day so we had lots of fun playing in their gorgeous yard!

Sydney and Dane made these Cute Caterpillars out of egg Cartons. I must say that these are the cutest caterpillar's I have ever seen.

They had so much fun playing with their new caterpillar craft.

For our C week outing we decided to go to the Catholic Cathedral Church in downtown Seattle. It is a beautiful church that we have been wanting to go to. Nonni will be sad she missed out on this adventure. I must say we may wait a couple of years before we visit this church again. It was amazing but very quiet. Dane was oohing and ahhing over the stained glass etc. it was quite funny.

The start to our C week began with a show from a Clown. Sydney stayed back on mommy's lap and watched while Dane made is way up to the front of the crowd.

We love Dada!!

Miss Syd and Dane LOVE their Dada! Today he came home from his business trip so we made him some yummy cookies.

Planes, Trains and Mail...

Marcus is on the road this week to Arizona and the kids always miss there Dada when he is away. Tonight out of the blue Syd lined all of the kitchen chairs up and said lets go on a plane. I said where are we going? Syd's response "Going to pick Daddy up". We all pretended we were on the plane moving our arms up and down. Dane thought it was so funny:)

Then Sydney got off of the chair and said there's Daddy (wow the imagination of a toddler). Mommy playing along with the game said "Oh I see him over there." I think Dane thought we were absolutly NUTS! He was looking everywhere for imagination Dad. Then Syd ran into the other room and picked up our picture cards and found Dada and started to kiss him. It was so cute and funny at the same time.

We got mail from Miss Syd. We were so excited to get a letter with a return address from Sydney. Her school is super close to the downtown Edmonds post office. So her class all drew a picture for their parents and walked to the post office to drop the mail in the big mail box. I'm sure they had just as much fun doing it as we did receiving the mail.

April shower's bring May flowers

For Easter Grammy and Poppo sent some veggie/fruit growing kits. It was a beautiful day here so we decided to plant our garden.

Dane decided to pour the bucket of water on his head. I love how he is sucking in his stomach in anticipation of it being "chilly" (as Syd would say).

Let's hope these babies produce something! I'm thinking we are going to get some starter plants but we will give the seeds a shot! I think we have to water these so we may be in trouble:)

Easter Weekend!

We had a fabulous Easter weekend! We missed hanging out with our family. Since we are so far away we had a super busy, fun weekend with friends.

Easter Day we went to Mount Vernon with the Woodward's for some yummy brunch and to see the tulips.

Let the FUN begin. Lola and Syd are the best of friends and can get a little ornery together. Here they are breaking into the fields (which you are not suppose to do!) And their OFF....

Notice this beautiful picture... well if you look close enough Syd and Lola make a FAST break (top right of the picture). Amy and I could not catch them! We were laughing so hard I nearly fell over.

Then we saw a man talking to them and they RAN back towards us. Notice the look on their faces. Who knows what he said but they came running back! It was quite funny.

Dying Easter Eggs...

On Saturday we went to a special Easter Egg Hunt at our good friends Jenn and Al's country club. We had such a wonderful time and it was a great way to start the Easter weekend!

Try getting 3 toddlers to wear bunny ears for a photo. The only one cooperating was Owen. This was the best we could get. Pretty funny though:)
