Sydney's 3rd Birthday Party

Sydney's 3rd Birthday party at the beach was so much fun! We were so happy to have Aunt Ker, Nonni and Harper in town for the celebration. There are not many pictures of Miss Syd because she was too busy running around...

So proud of the cupcakes she brought to school to celebrate her big day! I found this cute idea here.

Who would have guessed making a sand castle cake would be so much fun! I found this cute cake idea from here. I always have high hopes of making the kids cakes and at the last minute hire someone to do it. But this time I did it with some great help:)

The picture to the right was the night before then the picture to the left notice the cardboard backing...well when we woke up we had the leaning tower of Pisa...OOPS!
Syd and Harper running to the playground. They were wiped out after the party!

Kingston Ferry Ride

We had a blast this week with Nonni, Harper and Ker in town. It is so great that Sydney and Harper are so close in age. They really bonded this week and were the best of buds! It's too bad we live so far away... Here is a glimpse into our fun filled week.
It was a beautiful day so we went on a ferry ride to Kingston to have some fish and chips and of
course some yummy ice cream!
Sydney and Harper became the best of friends! It is too bad we live so far away.
Ring around the rosey...too fun!
Ice Cream time!
The nighttime routine: taking a bath and then watching Dora (only the ice cream episode...EVERY NIGHT!) When Harper left Syd said "I need my Harper to watch Dora with me"! They were like an old married couple. It was so darn cute!

Pike Place Market

One of my favorite places in Seattle is Pike Place Market. It seems like we don't go as much as I wish so we headed out for the day. We had a blast touring the market and the kids were in heaven with all of the fresh fruit. It was so nice to have Sue Sue join us and we even squeezed in some time to have a yummy lunch at the Pink Door.

A little of this and a little of that...

Here are a few of the random pics I wanted to post of our visit with Harper, Ker and Nonni

Aunt Ker is so darn funny! I think she could be a stand up comedian as a side job. She bought Sydney these cute wings and the three of them where buzzing up and down the hallway. Mom and I were crying laughing watching!

The nightly routine of watching Dora. So great to have a FULL bed:)

Sydney is always "chilly" even if it is 90 outside. So today at the beach she threw us all for a curve ball when she jumped right into the pudget sound (FREEZING!!!). She kept dragging mom out there and they were laughing up a storm.

Park Time! Our wagon had just the right number of passengers.

Reading a story with Non!

Father's Day Weekend!

Sydney and Dane are so incredibly blessed to have such a great Daddy! This weekend we celebrated Father's Day with a couple different festivals with friends. Happy Father's Day to our FAVORITE dad in the universe!

Daddy practicing golf at an early age with Dane...hoping and praying Dane wants to spend time on the course with his Dada:) Then maybe mama will give into a golf membership!
