A "Frogtastic" Day!!!

The craziest thing happened to us today. Miss Syd you LOVE your frogs more than anything! You have 2 and can't sleep, eat or breath without them.

One of your froggy's had gone missing for 5 weeks and appeared at the Froggy shop (this lady actually has the Guinness book of world record for the most frogs) Hooray for the frog lady who babysat froggy for a month. Someone found your frog at the beach and delivered it to the queen of frogs. We had never been there and just happened to go in to check it out! We had to show her the stitches to prove it was your froggy:) She said it was one of her favorites of her entire collection but she was so happy to see you with it.

I'm in heaven a store with ONLY frogs!!

When Mr. and Ms. crabby visit...

we head the the BEACH!! Daddy had food poisoning and mr. and ms. crabby crab woke up on the wrong side of the bed...yes you little munchkins! It is amazing how the beach can turn your moods around in two, well... one second!

There is SO much to explore. Endless... sandcastle making, rain boot wearing, crab finding (and dissecting), sea glass hunting, trains whistling, ferry's honking, bulb kelp tasting (not sure if your suppose to taste it but you did:)), scuba diving watching, Kelp balance beaming, Splish Splashing

When the beach ends in no clothes that means it was a messy success! The only thing missing was mama having octopus arms... trying to hose you both down, carry all the gear and getting you both to the car is a funny sight all it's self but one I wouldn't trade for the world!!

Maniac Mama's

Mommy and Amy (Lola's mommy) have been hard at work training for the Seattle Danskin Triathalon (well as hard as we could train with you little munchkins and jobs:)) It was a success! We made the 1/2 mile swim in Lake Washington, 12 mile bike ride on the 1-90 floating bridge and 3.2 mile run. We were so happy to have a crew of you there to support and cheer us on...

When you saw mommy finish the race you came running over as fast as you could. You were so proud and hugged me and said "mommy, why are you so stinky and wet"! Spoken like a true 3 year old.

The crowd cheering us on! Thanks guys it was so nice to have you there to support us!

Random...

Some may call this a pile of trash! But when you have a toddler you learn to look at life in a whole new way. Everyday I pick Syd up from school she goes running to her cubby to get all of the "stuff" she has found on the playground. I nearly feel over one day when she handed me the pile of stuff and said "mommy, here are my treasures I found aren't they great". So if you throw something on the ground Miss Syd may be on your toes to gather up the treasure!!
We stubbled accross an old video of us swimming with the dolphins and Sydney can't get enough of it. So this morning daddy got back in town and she was so excited to show him the "new video with dolphins and mommy and daddy".

This is your "I'm being good I promise look"

We went on an outing with the Siever twins and Jack and were driving home. I noticed I left my wallet on the front hood of the car (I was driving on a major street pretty fast). Syd says "Mommy, don't worry it's okay. Call the police man he will get it for you safe"
