Lake Chelan with Grammy and Poppo

We were so grateful to spend a week with Grammy and Poppo at Lake Chelan. WOW what a beautiful place! So much to do and see. Momma took SO many pictures so there are several posts from this very memorable vacation. Thanks Grammy and Poppo for taking us on such a fun vacation.

Our condo was right on the lake so we had tons of fun playing at the beach. You guys LOVED being buried in the sand...

They had a trampoline at the condo play area and you guys had a ball. Take a look at the header of this blog. Notice anything?? Yes, roles have reversed and now Dane is now the one tackling his sis. He loves to wrestle and Syd you laugh so hard when he does:)

We got to watch the hydroplane boats in action and there was even a old wooden boat named "Miss Sydney"...

Out for a hike!

Date night for mommy and daddy! We headed out for some wine tasting at several vineyard's. This was taken at Benson Winery. What a fun night!!

Tsillan Cellars Winery

What a Great day we had at Tsillan Cellars Winery! It is a perfect spot for wine tasting, feeding fish, running in the grass, grape tasting and an all around GREAT day enjoying the beautiful view!! Mommy and Daddy even came back for dinner one night...fabulous!

Fall is in the air...

What a great way to start fall with a day to Sunshine Farm in Lake Chelan. We hit the jackpot today with their fall weekend celebration. We went on a hayride to pick apples from their orchard, grape stomping from winery grapes, made homemade cider. Then off to Leavenworth for Oktoberfest. WOW what a fun day!!

This was so cool. We got to stomp grapes just like I love lucy! It felt so weird to have to cold squishy grapes between our toes. As you can see Dane preferred watching us stomp grapes. Poppo got the all time record for the most juice! Way to go Poppo!

Boating on Lake Chelan

One of my favorite spots in the world is on a boat! I think we have two kiddos that share that same love:) Dane LOVES to be the captain. He sat on Poppos lap for a good 20 minutes helping him drive. And when we got off the boat Syd you asked your daddy if he would buy us a boat. Great question I think we need one in the near future:) The weather was great and the scenery beautiful!

Our wedding song came on the radio (Let's Stay Together by Al Green) so daddy grabbed me for a quick spin in the boat!
